I definitely click on to the locals taking the mickey out of one if you've used wrong word in sentence (bahasa Indonesian) I've been living in Lombok for almost 2 years and I'm still struggling with language. Trouble now the people here want to speak English, or learn I should say. Its really hard for me trying to speak the language and they'll answer in half-pie English. I will master Bahasa Indonesian one day soon...I hope. Bit like learning to ride motor scooter. I'd never ridden one in my life....well they would all be lined up a long Senggigi town waiting for me to amble past on this scooter. In the end I stopped practicing in town and I found a nice quite place to practice. Now I can drive past them all feeling really good.
