Islamic architecture was one of my favorite classes there as well! I also really enjoyed the graduate course in Moroccan Foreign Policy.

I studied at al-akhawayn in the spring of 2009. Highlights were definitely exploring the country during the breaks. Loved history of the Berbers and Islamic architecture. Morocco has been one of my favorite countries so far!
