The author of six books on long distance hiking and outdoor adventures, Cindy writes from her rustic handmade log home in the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania. She is a "Triple Crowner'- hiking all three of the mountainous national scenic trails in America. Cindy is currently at work on a new book about using the whole (and natural) world to teach children.
