BETA names Sarah Park subscriptions ninja
Sarah joined us as an editorial intern at Matador Trips in 2009, and her work behind the scenes has helped establish Trips as one of the leading blogs at the network. With most of us on the team having backgrounds in either journalism, writing, and/or education, Sarah is unique in that she’s spent the last decade in the service industry:
I’ve chased customers up and down the street with left-behind wallets and watches, I’ve called people back to let them know I found a way to save them $100, I’ve dropped off birthday desserts to embarrassed diners, and I’ve even mailed out an 5′ by 8′ trail map of Mammoth Mountain to a kid who wanted to surprise his dad… so it’s safe to say that I’m pretty well versed in what’s within my power to try to keep customers happy and loving life — whenever possible and reasonable, anyway.
Sarah is currently the project manager for 800.MAMMOTH, which is the reservations/customer service/beta department for the ski resort. We’re super stoked to have her be the point person for BETA subscriptions.
