costa rica 2 056Greetings again! I’m now back from my 2 week honeymoon in Costa Rica (amazing place…pictures now online!) and am looking forward to catching up on the massive stack of emails waiting in my inbox.

If you’ve contacted me recently and haven’t received a reply, don’t worry, I’m on it. It may take me a few days, but you will receive a reply.

Also, I hope all you readers enjoyed the posts I had scheduled before I left, and thanks to the writers for contributing their work. As promised, I’ve got big plans for Brave New Traveler — likely to launch July 1.

As always, your comments, feedback, and suggestions are appreciated.

    Welcome back and again, congrats.

When J and I were in Costa Rica a few years back, we arrived in Monteverde, sat down to watch the toucans, and then, oh my GOD, our vacation is over! What the hell?! It was like we’d been sedated for the two weeks we were there, like time had just stopped so we could sit outside and watch toucans.

    It was awesome.

Haha, that’s actually how it felt for us. Thinking back now it’s just a blur of waterfalls, pico da gallo, Imperial beer, cloud forests, and howler monkeys. I suppose that’s what a honeymoon should be: a really nice dream.

Welcome back, and thanks for the comment on ubertramp.
I hope you had a great time in CR.
Looking forward to seeing th ebig plans unfold on BNT. I wait with anticipation!
I too am industriously beavering away on a whole new facet of ubertramp, although a 1st of July launch, for me, would be way too optimistic (its looking like august at the earliest I would think!) these things always take so much longer than expected – althoug I hope it will be worth the current effort (and time) that I am currently devoting to the project. We shall just have to wait and see…
Lets hope we’re working on different things!!
    All the best,
    Nath.
