Yo, I love your website!! Seriously! I got your invitation and checked it out, and it's great. I really wish there were more places like this that make it easier to assess the social accountability, and the environmental/social/ethical record of a company. I wish you luck and can't wait until the beer category is up and running... I sent this to my family and definitely recommend it to Matador members.

You should have an invitation in your inbox. And, if you don't understand how the site works once you have a look and click around, let me know. Thanks for signing up!

Thanks for this interview--it's always a relief to have more information about just what we're consuming. Sometimes I feel despondent because I feel like, ugg, it's so hard to trace things back to their point of origin, to really know the ethical implications of different products. And it's easy to sort of shrug and forget about it, but that guilt always keeps coming back. So the more information to empower the consumer to make ethical decisions and to think about where his/her products are coming from, the better--and I think this is a stronger, and more practical alternative than simply berating anyone who buys from a big company. Just one question--I went to the site and was told I'd get an invitation when space was available. Could you maybe explain how the site works? (Keep in mind this is coming from someone who's not exactly an internet genius, so pardon my ignorance.) Do you need an invitation to be able to see the businesses?
