Just got home from a dinner with friends who shared my same feelings, but also had decided that they *were* going to vote and we talked about why. I will vote tomorrow, though I'm still not sure for who. Despite being fairly well informed about the candidates, I still don't feel either one really takes a stand on any of the main issue that I think are most important in New York City right now. In their name, it's very important to go and pull that lever even if you're not crazy about either candidate. If I were you, I'd pick an issue that mattered to me, take ten minutes to check out the candidates' positions on said issue and base your vote on that. Then you can feel like you've made an informed decision. I’m sure that there are lots of posts on this very site about places where people don’t have the right to vote. You should ALWAYS vote, because if you don't, you're leaving your choice up to someone else. And that someone else may not share your opinions or convictions. Even if you don't feel any particular pull towards a specific candidate, you can still learn enough about them to decide which one is the lesser of two evils - which one would you tolerate more?
