One of the major events that caught my attention and raised the bar on twitter and fundraising was Charity:Water & the Twestival campaign. There was over 200 cities involved in Feb 2009 and it caught the attention of a few celebrities and that got a subsequent special produced on CNN. They raised money for the construction of clean water supplies in developing countries. Great Post and a great sense of humour on something that is otherwise a tricky life experience.
