Glencoe, you should go there.
It might be purely because when I was a kid we spent loads of time on caravan holidays there. Or because it’s where I climbed my first mountain when I was 10. Or maybe even cause I had my first kiss on the beach beside the campsite aged 12. Regardless, some of my favourite memories are of the Glen and it remains one of my favourite places in the whole of Scotland (and possibly the world).
It doesn’t matter what you like, you should visit. For mountain climbers, skiers, bird watchers, hill walkers and general outdoorsy folk then it’s a pretty obvious choice. But even if you don’t really like nature you should still go there. Seriously that’s an instruction. It will make your life better. Just go camp, get away from street lamps and superstores. Eat marshmallows in the pitch black and drink beer. Visit that bit Harry Potter was filmed at or hire a boat. Go find some deer or pretend your in Game of Thrones (or don’t, whatever).
I guarantee it will be the best camping trip ever. Unless it rains the whole time (guys it isScotland) and then it might kind of suck, but only a little bit.
