Museumsinsel aka Museum Island, part two

The Neues Museum aka The New Museum (cause Germans are super imaginative) only officially re-opened in 2009 after we so kindly destroyed most of if during the war, and that’s not me being weird, it’s a fact. Our aim sucked when we bombed Berlin and instead of actually taking out all the evil Nazi buildings we frequently went about destroying Berlin’s history and culture. Go on a walking tour with a very tall and informative English man and you will find out for yourself.

So this museum is pretty cool too, it has lots of ancient Egyptian and early history collections, and this room with the bust of Nefertiti in it, but you’re not allowed to eat, drink, breath near it or take photographs and the guards kind of stare you down so I suggest quickly and gently walking past: follow a 10 second rule and you’ll be fine.
