Dr. No, please say YES!

Enter the LRA Disarmament Act and Northern Uganda Recovery Act. This bill was “hotlined”for passage through the senate in December because it was an agreeable bill to bring the longest running war in Africa to an end. Joseph Kony has been terrorizing the country of Uganda for more than twenty years and this bill would give President Obama 90 days to come up with a strategy to apprehend this man and rebuild the country. Likely the reason for Mr. Coburn’s hold on the bill is the $40 million price tag of the bill. Though, the Navy has set aside $100 million from its budget that it is not using. Settled! Right? 

Wrong. That is why there are people protesting peacefully in Oklahoma city outside his office until he changes his mind and lets the bill continue its hotline.
