Support the Congo Conflict Minerals Act of 2009

In case you weren’t aware, the cell phone industry is directly fueling the world’s largest war. Minerals like Tantalum, Coltan, Tin and Tungsten power our cell phones and are only mined in Africa, mostly in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Similar to the diamonds in Sierra Leone, children are exploited as soldiers and laborers and women are raped and re-raped. 

This week Raise Hope for Congo, a partner of the Enough! Project, is having an advocacy week for the bill.
