Layover in Paris
Have I told you about Paris?
Yes, lights and love and wine and sleek women and suave men and a passion that never sleeps… the inspiration for a lost generation and many generations after.
And we had 12 hours to be Parisian.
We walked and walked and wandered and meandered, slip sliding from cafe to cafe, a little wine here, a little chocolate there…
Dancing in the moonlight and under the crowded night sky and through the hum of life scattered around.
We had no clothes, no toothbrushes, no pillows, no plans…
But surely a night in Paris is worth losing sleep over!
This post was inspired by “Winning the Layover Lottery” over at BootsnAll. We try to take advantage of every minute in every city we visit, even if it’s just for a couple of hours.
