Brunei Royalty

If you want a bit of five star luxury, even six, go no further than Brunei. This place is absolutely brimming with gold temples and palaces, making it a stunning little stop over on your next trip. Perfect for just a few days break,  you can drive into the small city from the airport and stay at the six star Empire Hotel & Country Club. This beautiful resort is palatial and spreads itself over a few hectares of land lined with palm trees and set right on the South China Sea. You will feel like a King or Queen at this glamorous resort as you sip a cocktail by the pool, or even do a bit of golfing. Heck, even walking through the front glass doors of this place will make you feel like royalty. The foyer is so huge, it has two escalators in it.  For a bite to eat when  the sun goes down, you can dine at one of the two restaurants they have. Either the buffet in the main foyer, or the seafood and grill restaurant by the pool. For some fun in the sun, you can try bananna boating, for some thrills and spills, or even cruise out on a kayak. For the ladies, there are some cute boutiques around the city that sell jewellery, so you can spoil yourself rotten and bling out for the night, and for the historians, there’s a museum on the Sultan of Brunei you can check out. Very interesting! So if you have a long flight and want to break it up and have a stopover for a few nights, my advice is why not stop over at Brunei! It’s the perfect place to unwind, let the kids ride a push bike around the lawns, and add a little bit of royalty to your trip!
