Saying Hello and Goodbye at the Same time.

So there I was, sitting on the roof of the hotel we (Andes Adventurers) were staying at in Ushuaia, Argentina on New Years Eve watching one of the most beautiful and excitingly vibrant Sunsets I’ve cared to remember. Perfect beginning to and from an end such as this.

After getting sick/having leg trauma and missing out on some beautiful runs, I knew i should have been homesick, but with a view like this, it was hard to wish to be anywhere else.

Southern most city on a hill
Show me your stars
And where does the beauty come from

We’re bringing in a whole new year
Whats it have in store for
this lithe cit on the hill
Where will the people go
When the streets are filled with show
Is this place still called home

What new mistakes will you make
What lessons will you take

Show me the pain and hidden history below
the surface of the South most city on a hill

Continue to strive but still leading
never follow those in charge
they’re on a path most destructed
