In four days, I’ll be leaving Sydney to spend two months on the beautiful island of Santorini, thus avoiding the Southern Hemisphere’s winter (cold weather and I don’t get on, and I count anything beneath 20 degrees to be cold). All moments of madness, including cultural confusion, communication comedy, sunburn, ancient history fuelled nerdiness and general summer delirum, will be documented here. My bags are nearly packed (okay I haven’t started) and I’m more than ready to go. When you next hear from me, it will hopefully be with cocktail in hand (my hand) – anything to beat the jetlag.
