This morning I woke up to a gentle falling white, and a jolting buzzing with the words, “…and it’s snowing.” There’s always something magical about the first snow of the season; this year, for me at least, it came much later than usual. I remember the days when it came on October 25th–2 feet to wade through to class. Now that I’m a ’southerner,’ things are a bit different: in more ways than one.
