I am a faceless bureaucrat working for a government contractor which shall remain nameless. Basically my job boils down to analyzing widget use policies and practices and ensuring they are in compliance with all widget-related laws and regulations. Sounds pretty dang exciting, right? Despite feeling like a cog in some rusty old machine, my job does have one awesome perk: it requires me to travel fairly frequently (though not often enough in my opinion). And I love to travel!

I started this blog as a means to both document my travels (for work as well as leisure) and as an outlet for my random thoughts on the road (and when I'm trapped in my cube at the office). Read on and feel free to comment!
