Do you realize how difficult it's been to come to terms with the fact, that I spent my entire life, getting ready for a future that never existed? So I got wise and hit the road. Vagabonding I think is the term. I've got a small pension but had to give up every possession I'd ever collected and a dog I dearly love to get here. It's taken a year for me to come to grips with learning a new language (badly) and learning to give up "thinking" American. Language, culture, people: to approach them like a sponge and take them in and make them part of me - that's the goal. I'm in Sao Paulo, Brasil now and will shortly be heading for parts unknown, where ever the bus takes me. If things go well, I'd like to spend a couple of years in India and Nepal. Right now, I still holding on a hair-brained dream to acquire a live-aboard sailboat to travel the coast of South America. Who know how far I'll be willing to take it from there? And still collecting tattoos from all the places I travel.
