I'm twenty-something. I have a Master of Science in Sustainability. I am a freelance research consultant. My hobbies are reading ridiculously long novels, making things I found on Pinterest, and practicing a few different forms of circus arts, including aerial silks and hula hoops. I write, I paint, I cook, and when I get the chance I sing terrible/wonderful karaoke. I'm nerdy-nerdy, as opposed to trendy-nerdy, and I embrace my nerdity and have been known to go on small diatribes about poser nerds. I really like boardgames and dinner parties. I love travelling and adventure seems to follow me like a little lost puppy. I would describe myself as "an intellectual," but that might just be because I listen to a lot of NPR, watch a lot of TED talks and take a lot of MIT open courseware classes for fun. ;) I'm an Apple fangirl, a weekday vegetarian, and a science fiction connoisseur. I am by turns misanthropic, optimistic, skeptical, trusting, extraverted, introverted, and a walking contradiction in general. I'd be happy living out of my backpack, and if I won the lottery I'd spend all my time doing humanitarian aid and wildlife conservation around the world. My goal for 2013 is to see at least 2 new countries, and have one of them be either Costa Rica, Peru, or India. My favorite dessert is gelato. I like to think that if there were a zombie apocalypse, I would make it to the final dozen.
