Travel Full-Time…For Less Money Than You May Think
Does full-time travel sound like a pipe dream? Too expensive, perhaps?
What if I told you that full-time travel can be cheaper than the cost of living in one place? I’ve been on the road for the last five years (full-time), and I’ve tracked my expenses for the last two years. And without really trying – my annual expenses – ALL IN – have been within $400 both years…..each year totalling around $17,000.
Now, $17k isn’t nothing, especially if you’re not a trust fund kid or otherwise independently wealthy. But if you have a decent location independent career (as a travel writer, perhaps, as Matador U graduates are so well positioned to be), $17,000 is a small income, but one that could actually support you in your travel endeavours.
Here are my secrets to traveling the world full-time for $17,000/year, chock-full of resources to get free accommodation, fly on the cheap (and in business class no less), and experience the world instead of merely passing through it.
How to Travel Full-Time for $17,000/Year (or Less!)
