New Mexico’s culture is strongly influenced by the Native American and Hispanic communities that have shared the state since Spanish colonization.

The temperature in this south western state can reach 100 degrees in the summer, but is much cooler in the norther mountain regions. Hatch, New Mexico, is the self proclaimed home of the world’s best chili pepper, and Albuquerque, is host to the annual International Balloon Fiesta, the largest hot air balloon event in the world.
