Needless to say, I could not afford a gift for my best friend back home in Virginia. So for weeks I scoured the free newspapers/magazines that proliferate the Tube for articles I thought would peak her interest. Ultimately, I taped them all together creating a personalized newspaper for her, which she could have never have gotten in the States.
