Some six months later and on a different radio channel, a different DJ said virtually the same thing. 'The Wire is better than the Sopranos'. Having duely got my attention I purchased The Wire Season One. I knew after the SnotBoogie intro when I heard "you gotta, this is America" quote, that I was gonna love this show. Better than the Sopranos? Most Def! Its over a year since I last watched The Wire, and in that year nothing has came close. I move into my new house soon. Job#1 Get huge tv for wall. Not only is it well put together (acting, storylines, etc) but it offers a complex snapshot of so many issues wrong with the US (and other nations) today.
