All jokes aside, passengers boarding a flight with adult toys should consider these tips and warnings on passing TSA inspection.

I used to work for CATSA (the Canadian version of TSA). These are good tips, and I’d suggest people to put their toys in their checked bags if possible. The x-rays for checked luggage are usually stronger than the ones for carry on and it’s easier to identify what’s in them, so there’s less of a chance of someone having to go through your stuff. One time we had Dr. Sue Johanson (a famous Canadian Sex Therapist, she had a show on tv) and her bag had a lot of electronics (sex toys) that looked really strange. She wasn’t shy about anything, she opened her bag up and explained what everything was and how it worked. That was an interesting day.

Those full body scanners freak me out. They have one at the Statue of Liberty! Seriously…there was more security there than at any airport I’ve ever been to.

Full body scanners make me so angry I can’t see straight. I can’t believe we are so apathetic that no one is even doing anything about it.

I see there is a list of 20 airport which have full body scanners so what about the rest of the airport that don’t use the technology. Are you a target of intrusive “pat-down” procedures or this apply only for the cases when you refuse a full body scanning.
