It's expensive (I no longer buy it) but it's wonderfully comfortable and very well designed. A major advantage over most synthetics and cotton is its ability to resist the build-up of odours. However, although the wool is grown here in New Zealand and Icebreaker clothing is designed here (NZ), the garments are manufactured in China. Whether that's an issue depends on one's perspective, I guess — New Zealanders who lost jobs when Icebreaker shifted to China will presumably have different opinions from workers employed in China to make Icebreaker clothing.
