The Pentax W80 has all the features of this camera, plus it takes regular SD cards for $219 on amazon.com. Your only tradeoff is a slightly bulkier package.

I’ve just been researching all the different hardy traveller cameras which I would want to have with me when on the move, and this one was yet to cross my path!

Thanks for the review, I’m interested to see how it holds up against the Olympus 8000, which won loads of awards for it’s tough awesomeness!

Glad I haven’t bought one yet, this looks as though it might be the one for me!

I hope to have one of these in hand very soon for my upcoming Atlantic Expedition. I will post a detailed review after I have had a chance to use it. It is great to see Casio enter this field, their experience with the G-Shock line should really help out!
