This book trailer stands on its own as a startling list of facts about social media.

Based on the information studied in Socialnomics, by Erik Qualman, Social Media Revolution 2 proposes that blogging, Facebook and Twitter aren’t fads, but rather a complete change in communication, marketing and several other facets of life and business.

I was shocked at the statement that if Facebook were a country, it would be the world’s third largest – knocking the U.S. down to fourth. And the fact that Britney Spears has more Twitter followers than the population of Ireland makes me ache in a weird, sad way. It’s odd but unsurprising, like finding out more eBooks were sold this Christmas than paper books. (According to this video, also true.)

About The Author

Michelle Schusterman

Michelle is a musician, writer, and teacher just trying to see the world while doing what she loves for a living. She's taught ESL in Salvador, Brazil and kindergarten in Suwon, Korea, and now she's a full-time freelance writer living in Seattle (just to keep the city alliteration going). She'll try pretty much any food once and believes coffee is its own food group.
