Its not as convenient as being able to access data anywhere, but last week I spent a few days in London and had a fairly easy time accessing WiFi networks. And phones. And cameras. And Powerbooks. I don't think apple can handle my travel needs for an acceptable price. One day I'll get one -- and be very happy -- but it'll be a day when travellers can afford the data plan. I can live for four days on the cost of the cheapest plan I've seen! And then I ought to buy insurance for it and worry about it getting stolen. No thanks, I choose travel. PS: What's a "bedroom community"? I've never heard that phrase before. I keep breaking iPods. I like to know what the temperature is going to be at a glance, and Fahrenheit makes this impossible. Weatherbug = good app, baaad execution. A Celsius option would be so simple.
