There are GR trails in Spain too...and if I remember right, in Italy. We did a portion of the GR92 on the Costa Brava...beautiful...it includes beach walking and trails that run along high cliffs overlooking the sea. For multi-day hikes, I would also add hut-to-hut treks in the Pyranees and the Alps. In Austria, a great way to treat yourself after a big hike is a plate of Kaiserschmarrn at the hut! mmmmm.....

Time for a shameless plug: Bike to work! (<a href="http://matadorlife.com/a-pedaler-amongst-lead-foots-biking-to-work/)" target="_blank">http://matadorlife.com/a-pedaler-amongst-lead-foo...</a>- it's exercise, it's functional, and it's green!

The fact is, there are so many ways to be active without going to the gym - I personally hate gyms...I used to go regularly but I get bored out of my skull. I'd much rather be playing tennis! Thanks for the tips!!

I wish I had the patience for yoga...I definitely need to pant and sweat to get my endorphin kick. As for nude soccer, I so wish I had more info for you! I heard stories from a friend of mine who was in graduate school at Madison when I was an undergrad, and he had spent two years teaching in Vietnam. He apparently played weekly with a group of Vietnamese and expats, and the nudity part was optional, but pretty much everyone went for it...I'm not sure if the group still exists, and it might be slightly awkward asking around, but hey....if not, revive the tradition!
