It's not something you send, but a simple journal or notation. It could be as simple as appreciating daffodils in a vase or as complex as being disturbed by a pet that is needing too much from you before coffee or starlings at your bird feeder. If you read some Ted Kooser you'll see what I mean about simplicity. We can get bogged down in trying to be profound before the words flow. I find that even if I think I have nothing to say, once I start writing the thoughts just start flowing and then the words. Soon I cannot write fast enough. Often we have no idea what we're going to write until we're in motion. Like this comment I'm leaving. No idea I was going to say that and now I wonder if I'm even going to stop. You guys are so attentive. ok. Stopping now :) Just getting started is the biggest challenge sometimes.
