PRETTY MUCH EVERY CIVILIZATION HAS WORSHIPPED the sun at one point or another. It’s natural, seeing as it’s giant, on fire, floats in the air, and we’re entirely dependent on it to continue existing. In honor of the summer solstice, we’re sharing this infographic by The Solar Centre, which shows off some of mankind’s coolest sun gods through history. You might want to put on some sunscreen.
