While I feel the rest of India moves forward, Kolkata on the other hand seems to tread a different path altogether. It seems to slowly but steadily downgrading itself every year with everything mediocre happily accepted by Kolkatans. I think it mainly stems from a lack of working culture. Sorry but I don't really have nice things to say about places pushing India back. I make a trip to Kolkata with my mother every year.
