I THOUGHT I WAS a badass last fall, when I wakeboarded the numbingly cold waters of Grant Lake, California, with snowy Sierra peaks in the background.

Nope, shown-up again. This time, by kiteboarder Andy Hurdman. While killing some time waiting for the wind to pick up, Hurdman takes a few casual pulls behind a boat in the ice-filled waters near Glacier Island, Alaska.
