Nice choices! I was once one of those Angelinos having cocktails at the Encounter after a Star Trek ride up the mood music encrusted elevator. And my last trip through JFK included a stop at the Blue trendy spot for sushi with my jetsetting cat. We purred. If I get to fly to Munich I’ll follow your lead no question. Fun article!

Glad to see Munich’s Airbräu in there – fantastic place, excellent Weißbier and roast pork on offer. During the festive period there is also a brilliant Christmas market in the Audi Forum (the large open space between terminals mentioned above), complete with ice skating rink, curling rink and mulled wine stands – check it out!

Ah, I love this list! I have it bookmarked for the next time I am in these airports. I wish there was one for Philly or Miami though, my most frequented airports.

I travel a lot and have spent many many hours at airport bars. No matter where they are I think you’ll always find the most interesting people there .
