I hear the food at Dakota's Cafe at Schipol is quite good....apparently a good location for plane spotting too! I think it's located in Departure 1.

Terrific suggestions. Makes me want to fly around the world. Although it is not haute cuisine, I loved Giraffe at Heathrow's new terminal 5, too. But I'm definitely bookmarking these just in case I fly that way.

Thanks.

Great round up.
JFK's new Jet Blue terminal (Terminal 5, I believe) has some nice new restaurants, major improvement over past offerings. And Mexico City's Benito Juarez Airport has some very decent (albeit, not haute cuisine)-- you can get some fantastic chilaquiles before an early morning flight!

for Hong Kong, I prefer Grappa's on the third floor before security and Wildfire, after security. Both have excellent food.

I kept hoping that anything from the Amsterdam Schiphol airport might show up as I've got a long layover there in a few weeks. No dice.
