How is it smart to alienate your clientele by creating things that only really look good on waif thin anorexics? But it's still working for some reason, and far from truly alienating women to the cause of fashion, it seems we are taken in and fooled by these artificial beauty standards and the analysis we do finds ourselves lacking more so than the industry itself. Even when we consciously know it's all fake and weird, it still effects us. Yeah, it’s funny the way the fashion industry works.
