NPR Music offers free downloads for those in search of something new
Photo and feature photo are screencaps from the NPR website.
Along with the Concert Page with free concert downloads they offer the Song of the Day. I’m picky. I dislike more than I like, so it’s great to find a place where there’s a new sound and artist offered up every day to sample.
Check out Erin McKeown’s dissonant Put the Fun Back in Funeral, or OutKast’s So Fresh and Clean. The song of the day is all over the place and you’ll find something new or old that you need to listen to just when you need it.
