Cocktails and service were the best we had in bangkok, however the food was absolutely appalling. The thai people as a whole should really just stick to thai food and forget their obsession with western culture and its food. The quality of  produce was impeccable a pity the same couldn't be said of the execution of the dishes. Clunky and unrefined come to mind for a $300 dinner it's fair to say i expected a little more..... My wife and i dined at sirocco about 12months ago and the views were amazing. Excellent bar, sights, but not the atmosphere of Sirocco. Worth going to if you end up in Surabaya though.
