When I lived in Buenos Aires back in 2007 my friends and I were almost the only European regulars at 'La Bomba del Tiempo' (the show to which this article refers); it was a real hidden gem and major perk of living in Palermo Now I can only imagine that it is overrun by overexcited, underaged, American college students...Sigh... Eve Hyman, you should learn the lost art of keeping a secret. I’m so sad to see that Konex has made it onto this list. It was on Thames street near plaza serano. We went to eat at a great restaurant across the street and stumbled upon it as we were leaving. We had a great time, the place was packed right out to the street. I've been to a few of the bars in the list, in the recent months I've been here. Congo is definitely my favorite. Having lived in Palermo for the past 3 years there are some changes I would have to make. I would definitely put Belushi on the list as well as Acabar. Two completely different places, both with incredible amounts of onda. I also like Post Bar for live music. I am not so sure I agree with this list. This bar has a happy hour til 9pm; 2 for 1 on beers and cocktails, BUT if you are not careful thay will try to charge you full price. When we recieved the bill they tried to claim that their 2 for 1 deal is 'different' from other bars and that it is only for each individual. I pointed out that each individual had actually only recieved one drink, not two. Also, my friend ordered a tea only to be given a coffee. He pointed out the error and was given a tea. However, we were charged for both on the bill. Again, I had to complain about this. On top of all their errors they actually gave us attitude, no whiff of an apology.
