Hey Kelsey - Agreed. These guys make easy targets for criticism, and certainly nobody's perfect, but I think their impact just in terms of raising awareness is huge. Tina - I thought about Geldof, my only issue with him is, at this point he's almost only famous BECAUSE of his charity work, rather than being a legit celeb who does charity work on the side, you know what I mean? I can't name a thing he's done, besides Live AID and Live 8. Kumaran - Ummm... MJ certainly did a couple of high-profile charity singles back in the day, but lately he hasn't done much besides stand trial for abusing children....

I think that they have hard work to changing the world. But what about singer Michael Jackson? He made song 'Earth Song'. And he have Heal The World Foundation.

I think this is a good list. I'd add Bob Geldof, he probably does the most charity out of all the celebs in the UK/Europe and is the most influential of them all.

Not everyone is so enthralled with Bono: <a href="http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/bono-retire-fro..." target="_blank">http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/bono-retire-fro... Or Bill Gates: <a href="http://www.whereamiwearing.com/travel/can-creativ..." target="_blank">http://www.whereamiwearing.com/travel/can-creativ... Personally, I think it's awfully hard to criticize these fellas that are doing so much to raise awareness and abolish poverty.
