Just got an email announcing the December 14th Green Drinks event in NYC.

Tickets are $25 in advance/$40 at the door, with proceeds going to Sculpt the Future Foundation & Algalita Marine Research Foundation.

Lots of other reasons to attend the event, including a silent auction with some really sweet items (gift certificates for Trapeze School of New York, 2 seats for a Murray’s Cheese “Cheese 101″ class, and a month of coaching from the New York Natural Kitchen Cooking School) and a chocolate room offering fair trade tastings, but the highlight will definitely be David de Rothschild talking about his Plastiki voyage.

More information can be found on the Green Drinks event page.
