Jet Blue asks: How much can you fly in 30 days?

I have very mixed feelings about this promo. On the one hand it’s incredibly appealing for frequent travelers, and a very clever marketing move by JetBlue. On the other hand, it encourages excessive, unessential air travel – a dangerous and unhealthy addiction. I love to fly, but I try to keep my flights to a minimum because air travel is so high-impact. Travelers who sign up for this promo will try to get their money’s worth, which means they won’t hang out in destinations for long and will be responsible for about as much CO2 emissions as the entire Maldive nation.

Hopefully it won’t encourage excessive travel, but just help out people who were planning on spending more than $600 during that time on flying. But I see what you’re saying, Tim.
