Major NYC restoration project complete; open to public 2 wknds in Sept
Yesterday, I was invited by the New York Botanical Garden to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Stone Mill, a pre-Civil War era building that has just reopened after an $11 million restoration.
The Stone Mill’s pretty interesting, especially if you like history and architecture, and it’s open to the public for free tours this weekend and next weekend. After that, it’ll be largely inaccessible to the public… unless you happen to rent it for a wedding.
More details about the Stone Mill and the tour are on my personal blog.
