As part of our collaboration with the Belize Tourism Board, MatadorU has established a scholarship program especially for Belizean writers and photographers.

MatadorU already has a scholarship program in place to fund the studies of prospective students who are interested in our travel writing and travel photography courses, but who cannot afford them.

Now, we are expanding our scholarship program to include designated spots for Belizean writers and photographers as part of our collaboration with the Belize Tourism Board. We will award scholarships for our travel writing and travel photography courses on a rolling basis. While there is no deadline to apply, we will be announcing the second set of scholarship recipients in September 2011, so we encourage early applications.

If you are a Belizean citizen or resident interested in being considered for a scholarship, please complete the secure form below. Questions can be directed to scholarships@matadoru.com

Belize Tourism Board- MatadorU Scholarship

Belizean citizens interested in MatadorU's travel writing and travel photography courses are invited to apply for scholarships specially designated for them. The two most important criteria influencing selection of scholarship winners are (1) financial need and (2) goals and intended application of the course to their life and work.
