MatadorU faculty, the Matador editorial team, and colleagues launch travel writing and travel photography workshops and consulting services.

THOUGH MOST OF OUR WORK at MatadorNetwork and MatadorU occurs online, we’re always looking for ways to meet our readers, students, and contributors “in real life.”

One of the ways we do this is through “meet-ups”; another way will be through our newly launched workshops and consulting services.

Though some of these services will be online, we’ll also be offering workshops in cities around the world, including New York, Seattle, Stockholm, and Mexico City, to name just a few.

The new series of workshops includes group classes (limited to small numbers for maximum participation) as well as individual training.

If you can’t make it to one of the cities where we’re leading classes, we also offer online courses, including:

Travel Writers’ Reading Group
Narrative Writing Workshop
Press Trip Preparation Workshop
Travel Writing for Mobile Apps
Writers’ Tips and Tricks
Pushing Photography’s Limits
Photography Portfolio Reviews
Pitching Boot Camp

There are also affordable one on one consulting services available, including resume critiques for ESL teachers wanting to get hired abroad, blog setup / maintenance and social media implementation, and several offerings for travel writers and photographers looking to advance their storytelling skills or create a more professional presentation of their work.

Please see the Workshops and Consulting Services section of MatadorU for more information.
