Matador U student, community member, contributor, and travel blogger Nomadic Matt Kepnes featured in NYT’s “Frugal Traveler” blog.

Looking for budget travel advice?

If so, it’s likely you already know about the “Frugal Traveler,” Matt Gross. Gross, of the New York Times, has a weekly column in the Sunday paper and a regularly updated blog that’s heavily trafficked by budget travelers looking for penny-pinching advice.

One of Matador’s own members, Matt Kepnes, was featured in Gross’ blog this week, and the column was so popular that it caused Kepnes’ web server to crash as 15,000+ readers clicked through to his site, Nomadic Matt.

In his interview with Gross, Kepnes shares tips gained from his own budget travels and talks about the topics covered in his most recent e-book: how to make money by launching your own travel blog.

Be sure to check out the full interview on the Frugal Traveler.
