NY Times: Manitoba is a must-see

Imagine my surprise when, scanning the New York Times list of 31 closer-to-home places to visit this summer, I spotted a familiar name: Manitoba.
If you’re not from Canada, chances are you don’t know much about Manitoba.
You might have heard about the polar bear-spotting opportunities in far-northern Churchill.
Or you might know that rockers The Guess Who hail from Winnipeg.
But you probably didn’t know it was one of this summer’s must-see destinations, did you?
(I didn’t, either.)
Turns out, the Times has come across a pretty cool outfit in Manitoba: Northern Soul Wilderness Adventures, which offers three-day canoeing/yoga combo trips, complete with vegetarian organic meals.
