PBS Gets Hip by Roughing It

Maybe you’re young and hip and think PBS is for old fogies and fans of obscure British comedies, nature shows, and Masterpiece Theatre.
But PBS has something in the pipe for you.
This summer, the public television station rolls out the new travel documentary series, “Roughing It,” a show about two 23 year olds from California who set off for Mongolia in search of adventure.
A preview promises the show will be interesting– the guys managed to have tea with the Mongolian president, test their might with a local wrestling champion, and test their intestinal fortitude with some yak vodka.
Keep an eye on the Roughing It website, which will publish broadcast dates as they are announced.
