An awesome move in the struggle against plastic waste and pollution: PepsiCo revealed their creation of world’s first 100% plant-matter plastic bottle, made of corn husks, switch grass, and pine bark. They’ll be rolling out a pilot program next year, and hope to use byproducts from stuff they already use in other products like orange peels and potato skins.
